Our Mission… • The Parks and Recreation Division’s mission is to acquire, protect and preserve the natural, historic and cultural features of Michigan’s unique resources and provide public recreation and education opportunities.
Who We Are… • 97 parks and recreation areas • 284,154 acres • 13,496camp sites • 437 miles of non-motorized trails • 22 million visitors annually
