  1. Hardware – E-Waste Shredder The Environment E-Waste: Disposal and Recycling of IT Equipment Justin Modi

  2. Flowchart The IT equipment is shredded a second time down to 1.5in A variety of IT equipment is loaded onto a conveyer belt IT equipment is transported to a shredder The IT devices go back on a conveyer belt The groups of material then pass two eddy currents which remove any aluminum mixed with the steel The material is then placed in a sizer that assorts the material into size based groups The shredded equipment goes back on a conveyer passing under a cross belt magnet

  3. Flowchart Explanation • IT equipment goes on a conveyer, transported to shredder A variety of IT equipment is loaded onto a conveyer belt IT equipment is transported to a shredder

  4. Flowchart Explanation • Scraps travel to a another shredder The IT equipment is shredded a second time down to 1.5in The IT devices go back on a conveyer belt
