Mrs. Repetski’s 8th Grade Language Arts 2013-2014 “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it.” William Arthur Ward Homework is assigned on a regular basis. If your student is spending more than 30 minutes a night on my assignments, please let me know. I offer tutoring on a daily basis if needed. If your student forgets his or her homework please contact me at valerie.repetski@killeenisd.org or call me at (254) 702-1371 Supplies needed for the second week of school are 2 one-subject notebook (wide-ruled; spiral) and a writing utensil such as a blue/black pen or a pencil. Additional items may be requested once class begins. My intent for the year is to create an encouraging atmosphere where your student can gain important skills and knowledge. I maintain the highest expectations for all students. Together, we can accomplish great things! Parents and Guardians, you are the expert on your student. Your support is greatly appreciated. I graduated from the University of North Texas and received my teaching credentials from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
