Creative brief • Company name: Wish List • What the company does: The Gift Wrap Company is the leading supplier of everyday wrapping supplies, birthdays wrapping paper, tote bags, stationery, boxed cards, tissue paper, boxes, unique packaging and ribbons. • Target audience: Females from 14 to 45 years old. • Brand characteristics: Simple, Well-defined, and Creative. • How are we going to promote this brand (media channels): We are deciding to promote our company by advertising in a magazine, a blog, Twitter account, Insatgram account, and store promotions.
Our Meeting • I had a meeting with my client Huda Hussain to discuss her ideas about the campaign. • I asked Huda what she wanted regarding the colors and she said she wanted light colors. • In addition, for the logo she said she wanted it to be simple and relevant to the name. • When talking about the social media methods Huda wanted a Blog, Twitter account, and an Instagram account. So I also suggested to have a Blackberry Messenger and a Whats App to help communicate with her target audience, since in this age range, 14 to 45 years old, females tend to use these applications. • Huda’s main concern was to grab customers in her shop and to make them come regularly to wrap gifts and not just have it as a once in lifetime experience. Therefore, for grabbing customers I created street advertisements (Billboards and Banners) and social media (BBM and Whatsapp, Blog, Twitter, and Instagram). While for customers coming back I created a stamp card, were for every 9 gifts you wrap you get a free wrap, to help motivate customers to come again. Also it is behind Huda’s business card with all the shops information.
Logo and Slogan “It’s a wrap”
