Sector Leadership Roles • On behalf of all Sheffield children, to lead in partnership with the Council, and other partners: • Enabling a citywide culture of school improvement focussed around inclusion and our most vulnerable cohort, • Virtual oversight of the cohort of children identified as being at imminent risk of losing access to local, mainstream curriculum, including a data dashboard. • Support and leadership as we work towards consistent identification & assessment of need across the city, including the Sheffield Support Grid and tackling issues/trends with sector partnership • The creation of a streamlined framework for accessing support for children with additional needs and/or those who are at risk of losing access to local, mainstream curriculum – through permanent exclusion, escalation to more specialist provision, or any form of off-rolling • A process for commissioning, specifying and communicating the support offer for schools for children with additional needs
