Thumbrules:
A room shielded under NCRP report 49 should be overly conservative …but must be reviewed.
A typical 70 kVp dental IO X-ray tube, 0.7 meters from the wall, will shield a 100% occupied office for up to 10 X-ray exams per day … but must be reviewed.
