  3. What I’ve done … • Progress report • Time schedule for thesis • Chose data set • Subset of Greek Mythology • “Lineage of the Olympians” • Built structure of VE • Then removed half of it • “Lineage of Selected Olympians”

  5. More importantly – still to do! • For VE: • Create tileable textures • Create a sky (using terragen) • Create symbols for each immortal • Create token symbols & flags

  6. To Do … • Coding: • Grasping hand & Map hand • Controlled by tracker • Controlled by keyboard • Trackers (for orientation & movement) • Tracker gadget • Collecting tokens in order • Bringing in token flags

  7. To Do … • Materials: • Create accurate map • Decide on (if) distance judgement tasks • Choose & set up navigation task • Finalise test on data set (partly done) • Instructions to participants

  8. To Do … • Experiment: • Create experiment schedule • Recruit participants • Students leave on 19 October • Need 48 subjects • How many can I do per day? • When do I have to have all this done by?!
