    4. MISSION STATEMENT The Escalante River Watershed Partnership is committed to restoring and maintaining the natural ecological conditions of the Escalante River and its watershed to provide for long-term sustainable use and cultural stability of the areas inhabitants.

    5. Vision Statement 1. Develop and maintain a viable partnership with diverse stakeholders to coordinate efforts and to share and improve communication.

    6. Vision Statement 2: Continue and improve eradication efforts for noxious invasive plants.

    7. Vision Statement 3: Determine education and outreach needs and develop appropriate materials, meetings, workshops and other forums to communicate the vision and goals of the ERWP.

    8. Vision Statement 4: Develop and maintain databases and GIS themes to document the progress of the ERWP.

    9. Vision Statement 5: Develop a Conservation Action Plan and implement key strategies.

    10. Vision Statement 6: Support a long-term sustainable development forum and workshops.

    11. Vision Statement 7: Determine long-term research and science needs for the Escalante River watershed.

    12. Vision Statement 8: Seek out both short-term and long-term funding sources to sustain the ERWP into the future.

    13. Elements of the Plan Partnership Organization and Stakeholders Restoration Plan and Control Efforts Education, Outreach and training Budget and Funding Regulations, Laws and Policies Research and Monitoring
