For the cake • Vegetable oil • 6 3/4 ounces cake flour • plus extra for pan • 1 teaspoon baking powder • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt • 4 ounces unsalted butter room temperature • 8 ounces sugar • 5 whole eggs • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
For the Glaze • 1 can evaporated milk • 1 can sweetened condensed milk • 1 cup of half-and-half
F or the topping • 2 cups of heavy cream • 8 ounces of sugar • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
History • The origins of the tres leches cake are disputed, but many people believe it originated in Nicaragua. The idea for making a cake soaked in a liquid is most likely of European origin.
Three kings day • Three kings day is celebrated on day of Jan. 6th\ kids write down what they want, what they have done good and bad and how they will behave this year then they tie there letter to a balloon and let it go into the sky or they will burn the letter or they will put it on in there shoe. Just like our Christmas they leave food out for the tread man of the east
