  1. Web TV-ApplLaunch 1.3 by Piero Massimino – December 2008 - pmaxim@newty.it The program is shareware and it needs registration key to work in full mode. The program Web TV and Application Launch is optimized for device (handlends and phones) with screen resolution 240x320 pixels (e.g Dell Axim) or 240x400 pixels (e.g. Samsung Omnia). Of course it works in graphic environment with greater screen resolution . Compatible O.S. are PocketPC 2003 and Windows Mobile (all versions). Based on screen device resolution, the program adjusts all its windows. It is possibile to use up to 126 buttons (14 pages 240x400 resolution) or 84 buttons (14 pages 240x320 resolution): the program automatically chooses better configuration. It also possible to choose preferred background image and buttons title colour. Any button can have a specific title and icon. Button functions can be: synthonize video or audio streaming, run any program, run any data file, open folders and documents, open preferred Web sites, call phone number (if possibile) etc… Streaming trasmission requires Internet bandwidth greater than 56kbs (WiFi, ADSL, 3G) In the main page it is possibile todisplay preferred information (Buttons, Notes, GPS). Moreover it is possible to send SMS or e-Mail with own GPS coordinates and to display, by the browser, Google Maps of your area.

Installation To install the program Web TV-ApplLaunch is necessary to copy, in any folder of your device, the files Basic.NS.cab and SetupWebTVApplLaunch13.cab and run them, it is not important the order. Once installed (in main memory or storage card) you will find Web TV-ApplLaunch icon in Programs group. If you prefere to install the program from MS-Windows environment, it is necessary to run WinWebTVApplLaunch13.exe and to follow the requests displayed on device screen. To register the program: Help-Registration.

Go to setting Information Area (top area in the windows - see next slide) Selected image

  7. Once chosen image, here filename appears. Use Reset if you want to choose background from internal library.

Information Area Preferences You can just choose one type of Information Area Google Maps by Browser If your device is connected to GPS (or it is able to use an internal GPS) You can choose GGA,RMC or GSV NMEA sentence. If empty NO Log. Logging NMEA sentences. It is useful if you know what they mean. Back to main preferences

  21. If device allows call phone number, it is possibile to assign phone call function to any button
