What is GERD Awareness Week? • Every year the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (IFFGD) celebrates GERD Awareness Week. • Every year this week is observed during the Thanksgiving festival celebrated in western countries. • GERD Awareness week aims to encourages people suffering from GERD to consult their physicians about it. It aims to create general awareness about GERD, its causes, treatments and ways of prevention. This year GERD Awareness Week will be celebrated from 20th-26th November, 2016. Modus Operandi Pre- Work: • Select potential 20 Drs for Pansec range. • Surgeons (10) • Physicians (10)- Expert camps physicians must be included • The list to be verified by BMs & SMs During event: (21st to 26th Nov) • Distribute the Greeting cards to 20 selected Drs • Paste, Patient education posters at clinics of these doctors. • Pansec DSR/Pansec 40 to be the first brand to be detailed to these Drs. • 2 expert camps to be conducted during this week. ** The inputs have been dispatched to respective depots. SMs please allocate the same, on priority. LR details already shared on Mail (Dt:12.11.2016)

Modus Operandi GERD week @ Scalpel App: • Surgeons are the core specialty for Spectracare Team 2 • We will be uploading content on Scalpel Mobile Application exclusively from the field of Gastroenterology and Gastro-surgery on Scalpel app. • We will be uploading Gastro-surgery videos & abstracts on Scalpel app. • The videos come from national icons in the field of Surgery like • Dr. Pradeep Chowbey, Max Hospital, New Delhi • Dr. G.V Rao, Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad • Dr.Senthilnathan P, Gem Hospital, Coimbatore Make sure you discuss the same with all surgeons, create a big hype about GERD week and Scalpel mobile app among the surgeon fraternity.

  5. Modus Operandi Post Event: • Therapy updates on GERD will sent under the tittle ‘GERD week updates’ for distribution to the selected 20 Drs. Control & Monitoring: • The list of 20 doctors covered under this activity to be compiled as in format attached and to be sent by 3rd Nov, 2016 We are sure, all of you will take mileage of this event. It will further increase the noise level of Pansec range and strengthen your relation with potential Drs of Pansec range.
