National Workshop on Good Practices of Youth Held in Maputo Date: March 29 and 30, 2017. Attendance: ECA Government of Mozambique (MJD, MGCAS, MCTETP, MISAU, MDH) National Youth Council Youth Associations, Partners in the area of Youth. Team of consultants
Field visits Visited 5 projects developed by young people by a team of Consultants with the support of the Government of Mozambique.
Advantages of the Project according to the Mozambican Government's view Improves the mechanisms of sharing of experiences Helps to gather knowledge and good practices of young people Opens window of cooperation between young people Helps the work of the Government in collecting, systematizing and disseminating information on Youth practices. Improves technical and financial capacities of youth projects through the supporting windows project within the project.
Challenges Make the tool box available in Portuguese. Ensure the continuity and sustainability of the PROJECT. Create windows of dissemination on local platforms and allow self-login of good practices by their promoters. Ensure that UNECA creates conditions for systematic monitoring and evaluation. Flexibility with the technical and financial support package. There is lack of proper documentation, a general gap and lack of numerical data .
