How can you be respectful in class? Listen and follow directions…. Be an active learner Help other students by respecting their right to learn. Use good manners and proper etiquette Use conversation tones Don’t touch other people things and keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
How to be respectful in the hallway. Don’t block the halls, keep to the right and keep moving. Use conversational tones Don’t disturb posters, artwork or things hanging in halls. Get to class on time, when music sounds make sure you are moving quickly to class. Don’t litter, pick up after yourself. Use good manners, speak when spoken to.
How to be respectful in the cafeteria. If you used it, pick it up. Even if you didn’t use it, pick it up. Invite those alone to sit with you. Look cafeteria staff in the eye and greet with a smile. Respect your body and put something good in it! Leave the cafeteria better than when you found it.
How to be respectful at school events. Stand at attention during the National Anthem and Alma Mater. No cell phones. No laughter. Everyone wants the best seat they can get- try to accommodate all who want to be involved. During performances, remain in your seat until an intermission or breaks between acts. Turn cell phones off- just disconnect and enjoy being in the moment. Stay positive in your enthusiasm.
