We go for depth of understanding and demonstrate it. • Pay attention to details. I do not accept spelling errors, incomplete sentences, missing units. We go for quality work and demonstrate it. • Show respect, kindness, and caring. We want a supportive learning environment. • Use appropriate behavior.   4. 20 Percent Time • Year long project based on student interest in STEM • 50% research, building background (Sept - Dec) • 50% deliverable that is of use to others (Jan - May) • About 1 day per week • Calendar, status reports, notes, bibliography • Contact with experts

  6. How do I know my student’s grade, attendance, comments, assignments? • Parent Portal • Password the same as last year. • See me if you do not have Internet access. • Available on Fri, Aug 25, if grades are entered • No progress reports after 6 weeks • Sign up for email delivery of alerts
