Who Are We Targeting? • Families (with children) living in an Emergency Shelter or on the streets • Families at or below 50% AMI • Families who are able to rent a unit on their own and stabilize with housing case management. HPRP - Snapshot Update
RRH Activities and Outcomes Summary - October 1, 2009 to March 16, 2010 • 260 households have been assessed • 190 households have been housed • 30 of 190 families housed were referrals from other service providers • 10 different referral sources - Family Promise, Safe Harbor, Canyons School District, Salt Lake City School District, 4th Street Clinic, CAP, YWCA, South Valley Sanctuary, VOA-Homeless Outreach, VOA-Homeless Youth • 100 families have been re-assessed after three months; 38 were able to leave the program, 62 were approved for continued assistance from one to three months. • $750 total (HPRP and TANF) spent on RRH • Average of $3,200 spent per family (Financial Assistance Only) HPRP - Snapshot Update
Outputs / Outcomes • Provide RRH to 517 households over the entire term of the program (30 months) • Measure # and % that return to shelter within 12 months (goal is 80% maintain housing) • Income / employment sufficient to pay rent HPRP - Snapshot Update
