  8. A request for help • Dear Colleagues and Students • After analyzing student performance data in reading and mathematics, I have noted a worrisome trend, students are not learning as much as they are capable of learning. The SIP Team has also noticed this trend and set goals to help students learn more than they do in a typical year.

  9. Teachers… • Teachers, it is clear that you know your students well and develop instruction that is designed specifically for them so that they are able to reach their full potential. Additionally, the District provides high quality materials and resources to support student learning. As teachers, you work in teams to examine the effectiveness of your teaching as well as the progress of the students. I also know that the students here are especially diligent about learning, they hunger for new knowledge.

  10. Students… • Students, I would like you to advise me and your teachers on the best way to fulfill the expectations of the District Mission and Vision statements as well as the District Goals to support your growth and learning. Please, be prepared to communicate your findings with me on _____________________________.
