Reason for sunset date no longer in effect • Energy Star abandoned development of v5.0 Tier 2 spec1 • Moving instead to a new v6.0 spec • Energy Star estimates v6.0 to be effective in the latter half of 20152 Note: EPA estimates that Energy Star dishwasher penetration in 2012 was approximately 89%.
