  3. Templates • Multiple templates can be displayed at the same time • Templates can be "reopened" • "Transparent map" for a better view • More file format supported (TIFF)

  4. Transparency • "Transparent map" • Transparent templates • Spot color view • A simulation of the 5-color printing • Possible problems can be checked

  5. Internet Maps • Simple to produce • Very fast due to small tiles • Zoom • No (expensive) map server required

  6. Course setting • Any OCAD map can be used • Control descriptions • Relay and one-man relay • Data transfer to the result system

  7. Waterproof Paper • Often called "Outdoor Paper" • Makes the ink of ink jet printers waterproof • Suitable for trainings and small events

  8. Finally • The French Land Survey is using OCAD for updating the topographic maps • OCAD is now 50% orienteering and 50% outside orienteering
