Meetings • Co-ordinating meetings, arranging times, dates, booking venues etc • Booking Venues • Developing the agenda - inviting speakers, chasing up presentations • Taking the minutes at meetings, typing them up • Booking signers and interpreters • Follow up on unanswered questions • Enable people to be involved in decision making • Produce information in audio format if required
PSI Web site • Development of the website • Designing Polls that reflect topics discussed in meetings • Putting paperwork from meetings on the web • Collating number of ‘hits’ to the site • Answering posted questions
Task and Finish Groups • Support the development of Task and Finish groups (making them user led and supported by PSI peer champions) • Book venues at times and dates set up the individual groups • Make sure all dates, paperwork and outcomes are on the website • Develop joint task and finish groups if appropriate
Agenda Setting Group • Co-ordinate and collect items to be sent to the agenda setting group for them to decide which meeting it is sent to • Send out reminders for items • Invite people to present or discuss once they have been assigned a meeting
Forums • Facilitation of Monthly PSI Forums • Feed back issues identified across Lincolnshire as being of importance locally • Be the Communication link between people accessing services and the Partnership Board • Gather views • Supporting and enabling people with disabilities when required
General.. • Strengthen the voice of people with PSI on the Partnership by creating stronger links between the Board and service users, ULO’s and existing groups • Ensuring the agenda of the Board is user driven and views are representative of a wide range of Individuals and groups • Sending out information to group members about relevant meetings and training received through other Organisations
General Continued . . . • If the group decide they want joint assembly meetings with LDPB and Mental Health Lit we can co-ordinate this • Check on Action plan to make sure we are meeting targets and outcomes • Help with a Marketing & communication plan (including a PSI newsletter) • Strengthen links to strategic bodies to further the aims & interests of the Board membership
