How to sell your research proposal • The focus of this session is not on the quality of the proposal, but on the quality of the presentation • Brief and to-the-point • Convincing • Energetic • Highlights the novelty of the research • Highlights the importance of the research
How to sell your research proposal • Facilitator explains the research proposal, group choose a speaker (5 min) • Together the group prepare for the presentation (10 min) • Speaker presents to other group while they make notes (5 min) • Group gives feedback to speaker (5 min) • Speaker discusses feedback with own group, improve proposal together (10 min) • Another speaker presents improved presentation at another table (5 min) • Group gives feedback to speaker (5 min) • Speaker discusses feedback with own group (5 min) • Plenary discussion and questions (15 min)
