  4. WWEMA Committees • Annual work plans to execute strategy • Work groups to carry out the mission • Identify issues/priorities of importance

  5. WWEMA Committees • Chair and Vice Chair approved by Board • Chairs have two-year term limits • Committee member terms are not limited • Committee member approved by Chair

  6. Marketing & Member Services Committee • Promotes Association benefits • Develops value proposition • Promotes Association to prospective members • Works to expand member base • Member engagement • Builds member ROI

  7. Legislative/Regulatory Committee • Monitors issues affecting water & wastewater • Directs WWEMA advocacy efforts • Updates on regulatory issues • Tracks issues on Capitol Hill • Provides legislative expertise • Keeps members informed on the administration

  8. WWEMA Councils • Councils meet to discuss topics of shared interest • Council Chair appointed by Executive Director • Council Chair appointed to one-year renewable term • Full & associate members may participate on councils • Councils meet at least once yearly
