Card # 2 A story about a historical war and the six special young soldiers during world war 2. But now those six young soldiers are now known as the six flag holders.
Card # 3Beginning In the beginning the author tells about the six flag holders and where they started out. He tolled about where they lived and what they did before the war. It took place a half-centry ago. The author also tells about battlefield it was called Iwo Jima.
Card # 4Beginning Later in the beginning the author describes the six men finding out that they are going to war. He also describes them getting ready for war. The battlefield Iwo Jima is a tiny island in Japan. For the past month they have been training.
Card # 5 Middle In the middle the six men just touch down on Iwo Jima. Looking around like they are surprised. Following there leader he tells them to “get down”. There was a Japanese sniper. Then the leader tells them to “get up”and to look out for mines.
Card # 6Middle the six men have been in Iwo Jima for three days now they get to leave for a break. Flying back to H.Q. one of the men writes home. It has been a day in H.Q. and now they have to go back to war. They have been in war for a day now. That one man who wrote home the letter is curious for his write back.
Card # 7 End The six men are still in war. But the war is about to end. During the end of the war the six men grab the flag and ran as fast as they can and plant it down in the ground and they knew it was over.
Card # 8End After the war was over they got taken back to H.Q. One day later the six men were getting there head formed in clay form. To show there bravery to everyone and anyone. The End
Card # 9 I think what makes this book a true adventure because of the intense wars and courage of the men.
Card # 10 I think the author wrote the book to show young men that they always can accomplish anything.
Card # 11 I kind of liked in some parts but I also disliked it in some parts because it wasn’t my favorite topic.
