  2. Dynamic Character Where do you find it: Literature and film What does it mean?: undergoes important changes as a plot unfolds Spanish cognate: personaje dina’mico Give us a sentence!: The hero is a dynamic character because he gives up after his father dies.

  3. Static Character Where do you find it: Literature and film What does it mean?: remains the same throughout a story Spanish cognate: personaje esta’tico Give us a sentence!: The static character seemed unaffected by the hero’s death.
