  2. ECPAWater Stream: Strategic Pillars • Keep water clean and safe by recommending correct and appropriate use and supporting use patterns and mitigation measures that minimize contamination. Ultimately training all relevant stakeholders ( Industry, Farmers, Education & Extension services ) to follow Best Management Practices. • Guarantee sustainable water management on our sites and demonstration farms, and promote the state of the art for a sustainable agriculture that meets demand for quantity and quality. • Help save water by developing drought resistant plants, supporting techniques to improve water efficiencies and foster sustainable water management. • Foster research for compounds with minimal impact on human health and environment including associated and related technologies for their application and remediation. The Stream addresses both water aspects: quality and quantity.
