  2. Goals Must be: • Specific • Realistic • Attainable • Time Limit • Rewarded when accomplished! • Written Down • Based on Values • Baby goals/steps to accomplish

  3. Go for the Goal! • Daily Goal • Develop a Schedule • Do one task at a time • Stick to the Plan • Focus on what you are doing! • Think about WHAT you have accomplished • Make a schedule for tomorrow

  4. Goal Setting Plan • Finish the statement: In one year, I would like to…………. Follow the Top 4 Steps of Goal Setting to write your goal. Specific Behavior Realistic Attainable Time Limit • List 3 Baby Steps in order to accomplish your goal.

  5. Create a Daily Schedule • On page _______ Create a Daily Schedule of what you are going to do today afterschool until you go to bed. • Create a “To Do” List for each day next week of all your assignments or projects that are do for your classes, tests that are scheduled and any other activities/meetings that you have planned (school and outside of school activities).

  6. 50 Wants Activity • # 1-50 on page 36 • Brainstorm 50 wants that you want to have in the next 10 years. • It could be anything…. Travel, Education, Driver’s License, Graduate, …. etc. • What skills do you want to master? What habits do you want to change? What health do you want to acquire? What things do you want to own? What experiences do you want to have? • Small or Big! • Except for “Super Powers” of course (lol)

  7. Goals Break Down! Page 37 1 year Goals (2) – write 2 down from your 50 Wants! 1. 2. 3 Year Goals(2) 5 Year Goals(2) 10 Year Goals (2)

  8. Conclusion • What did you find out about yourself today when it came to goal setting? • What knowledge must you have to accomplish your goals? • What type of person must you become to accomplish your goals? • What resources do you need to have to help you accomplish your goals?
