On 21 December 1841, the Hague authorities established the first diplomatic representative in Romania: Commercial Viceconsulatul Galati, owner is Anthony Vlasto. • 15/27 February 1882, the agency's diplomatic legation was elevated to the Netherlands in Bucharest, Head of Mission and also advances to the rank of minister resident. • On August 25, 1966, relations between the two countries were raised to embassy level History of diplomatic relations
