  2. Avian Influenza • This refers to the original name of the bird flu. • It does the same thing to birds as humans

  3. The Bird Flu • A virus that attacks the respiratory of birds and humans. • Its mostly found in birds in China and other European Countries.

  4. H7N9 Virus • A subtrate of avian influenza or bird flu. • This virus affects humans most of the time instead of birds but there are still birds that get infected.

  5. H5N1 Virus • This is a substrate of avian influenza and the bird flu. • This virus mostly affects birds in there intestines but still can make its way into humans but doesn’t really affect them as much.

  6. The Symptoms in Humans • Fever • Cough • Mental Judgment • Diarrhea

  7. The Migration of the The Bird Flu • The bird flu doesn’t occur in the USA but mostly in China and some European Countries.

  8. Mortality Rate • Nearly every bird that gets infected with this virus will die about 1 week later. • 64% of humans die and they die 3 weeks later or more.

  9. How to catch this Virus • By smelling the species of and infected bird or getting its saliva on your skin or worst in your bloodstream somehow.

  10. How to Prevent the Virus/ Vaccinations • Wear protective clothing when dealing with and infected bird and always wash your hands before and after dealing with the birds.
