  1. How to Make a Badge *All manufacturers must read this TWICE before attempting to make their badges! Press F5 (on the upper part of your keyboard) to begin.

  2. Cutting Out the Artwork When cutting out the artwork for your design, you are going to need the circle cutter, and the metal cutting plate. *Remember, the cutter has a blade in it, DO NOT play around with this machine, as it WILL CUT YOU!

  3. Placing your picture Place your picture on the metal cutting plate.

  4. Centering your artwork *Put the circle cutter on top of your design. • MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PICTURE IS CENTERED.

  5. Cutting Out the Artwork Press down on the handle and rotate the handle on the cutter machine. Rotate the handle 1 ½ times to ensure that you cut the entire radius.

  6. Making a Badge Make sure that you can see both cutting dies of the button maker machine. Left Cutting Die Right Cutting Die

  7. Materials Needed • Sort all of the materials that you are going to use. • Shell • Badge Design • The Transparent Cover • Pin-back or flat back for the Magnet.

  8. Step One: Place in Order • Now you are ready to put each element in the machine in the correct order. • Find your Shell, and place it SHARP SIDE DOWN in the LEFT cutting die.

  9. Placing the Artwork • 2: Place the artwork you want FACING UP and in the correct direction.

  10. Placing the Transparent Cover • 3: Place the transparent cover over the top. Make sure it’s all in and that no part of it is shifted over the edge. • If it is shifted over the edge, it will result in a damaged badge and consequently loss of profit for your company.

  11. Step Two: Badge Back • 1: Place the back of the badge SHARP SIDE UP in the RIGHT cutting die.

  12. Step Three: The 1stPress • 1: Rotate the cutting die clockwise so that your picture is underneath the press. • 2: You should be able to see the back of the badge in front. • 3: Grab the red handle and press down firmly. • 4: When the handle goes back up, you shouldn’t be able to see any part of your badge.

  13. Step 4: Rotating and 2nd press • 1: Rotate the cutting die so now the back of the badge is in the pressing position. • 2: Press down firmly on the red handle. • 3: Release the handle and rotate the dies. Your badge should be complete!
