  3. Search engines A Search engine is a computer program (software) that is used to find web sites, Internet files and web pages. We type a keyword into a search block Database of information is then scanned and results are returned. diamond

  8. Hints for using a search engine • Type keywords not sentences • Lowercase characteristics buying diamond • Select images if you want pictures • Use different search engines
