This study investigates the genetic associations with metabolic syndrome in hypertensive individuals from Sweden and the UK. The study uses genotyping data from the NORDIL and ASCOT trials to identify SNPs and CNVs associated with metabolic syndrome. The results of this study will provide insights into the genetic basis of metabolic syndrome and may help in the development of personalized treatments.
