My Senior Project Idea • Have always been interested in music and am a percussionist • + • Inspired by performing at the music sculpture in Coolidge Park located in Chattanooga, TN • = • Constructing a sculpture soundscape unique to Martin, TN
What is a Sculpture Soundscape? • Permanent installation that makes music available to the public in an engaging medium • Playable art • Fun for all ages • Satisfies visual and aural expression

Budget: • Cost of Project: estimated at $2,000 • Projected Budget: • $1,000 – cost of material (primarily carbon and stainless steel) • $450 – welding • $200 – sandblasting • $200 – painting • $150 – consumables
Measurements and Materials • Type of Construction: New Construction • Tentative Measurements for Site Plan: • 20 x 20 or 400 square feet for the base of the structure • Elevation no higher than 7 feet • Description of Materials to be Used: • Carbon and Stainless Steel with a primary focus on recycled materials when feasible
