  4. Relation with PSDs • PSDs float tender for various items of work • Tender evaluation committee needs to be nominated yearly • Submits the tender file after initial processing for approval • Technical and commercial bids for works above two lakhs to be approved separately

  5. Routine procurements • Purchase of furniture • Sundry purchase approvals of divisions exceeding Rs. 5000/- on an item • Constituting local purchase committee • Monthly transfer statement to PSD • Tenders for procurement • e-Procurement (DGS&D)

  6. Retirement • Stocks that have outlived their life need to be condemned • Condemnation committee to be appointed to examine • Disposal of condemned items • Certain cases need replacement of condemned items
