  3. TASK ONE: Click on the website links to go to Three places that will give varying points of view on Tutankhamun's Death! Skim and Scan the pages to see what each site says is similar and what is different. Display these ideas in a Venn Diagram. Write a paragraph showing your own personal view. Each group will have a task to unravel..! WEBSITE 1 - skim and scan WEBSITE 2 - - skim and scan WEBSITE3 - - skim and scan

  4. Task 2: Who was this regal woman ?? Watch the video on First Class called : Examining a Lost Queen. Take notes as you go to place in your folder, pause in places if you have thoughts about the scientists forensic questions or interesting things they find out and share with your team. Write down 3 questions you might like the scientists to answer during the movie. What are your thoughts – do you think that their decision is correct? What was the most interesting part of this mystery to you? Write a summary of the video.

  5. Explore the british museum in task 3 Hover your mouse over the hieroglyphics on the stone to uncover pages you can go to in order to become more knowledgeable about Ancient Egypt. Write a summary of each of the pieces of information ( a large paragraph) after you have read about it. Make sure you read – think – and then write in your own words what you remember. You may complete some of the games/challenges if you are finished in time. You do not need to complete the section on mummification as we have done that during explanations!! You also do not need to do the section on Gods and Goddesses.

  7. Look into the forensics of creating a king!!! Using the pages of forensic information ( get from Miss D) read about how scientists unfolded the mystery of finding what King Tut looked like and unravelling his body carefully from the wrappings and his many sarcophagus, Do you think this should happen to his body after what you have read and learnt so far about Egyptian life? Is it worth it for all the amazing things that we learn? Do you find this type of forensics interesting? Describe briefly the process they go through?
