The hardest thing for man to admit is that all that we are, all that we have, belong to God and we are but His stewards. • Deut. 8:17-18 (MsgB) If you start thinking to yourselves, "I did all this. And all by myself. I'm rich. It's all mine!"— [18] well, think again. Remember that God, your God, gave you the strength to produce all this wealth so as to confirm the covenant that he promised to your ancestors—as it is today.
The second hardest thing for man is to be thankful and remain thankful to God, remembering that all comes from Him. • Psalm 103:2-5 “Bless the LORD, O My soul, and forget not all His benefits; who forgivesall your iniquities, who healsall your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with goodthings, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Deut. 26:1-11 (NLT) "When you arrivein the landthe Lord your God is giving you as a special possession and you have conquered it and settled there, [2] put some of the first produce from each harvest into a basket and bring it to the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored. [3] Go to the priest in charge at that time and say to him, 'With this gift I acknowledge that the LordyourGod has brought me into the landhe swore to give our ancestors.' [4] The priest will then take the basket from your hand and set it before the altar of the Lord your God.

[8] So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with amazing power, overwhelming terror, and miraculous signs and wonders.
Deut. 26:1-11 (NLT) [10] And now, O Lord, I have brought you a token of the first crops you have given me from the ground.' Then place the produce before the Lord your God and worship him. [11] Afterward go and celebrate because of all the good things the Lord your God has given to you and your household.
God wants us to always be thankful to Him • 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. • If you woke up this morning with more health than illness...you are more blessed than the six million who will not survive this week. • If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation...you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death...you are more blessed than three billion people in the world. • If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead, and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world. • If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace...you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.
Thankful people receives more of the blessings of God • Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? • Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well.“ • “Cleansed” = katharizo – cleansed, purified • “Well” = Sozo – saved, delivered, protected, preserved, whole, doing well

Once a Year • Neh. 10:35 "We also assume responsibility for bringing to the house of the Lord each year the firstfruits of our crops and of every fruit tree. • Sanctifying our Harvest • Romans 11:16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
