Advantages of the DAISY File Format • Ability to detect phrases in spoken word content • Offers ability to alter speed of the audio • Ability to move directly to a specific page in a text • Navigate text by character, word, sentence, paragraph, etc. • DAISY format allows flexible searches depending on file structure
