4. Study Partners • Official Peer Tutoring program at Auburn University • RBD Library Learning Commons and Eagle Hall • Hours of Operation • Sunday-Thursday: 2-7PM in Learning Commons; 7-9PM in Eagle • Closed Friday and Saturday • Appointments are encouraged, but will accept walk ins.

5. The Tutors • Every partner has been highly recommended by professors • They must have and maintain at least a 3.0 • Each tutor typically made an “A” in the class they tutor, and a minimum of a “B” • By fall of 2008 all tutors certified by the National Tutoring Association

25. How it Works. • Group collaborative effort led by an SI Leader • The leader has taken the class he/she is currently leading. • SI currently attends the class • Leader holds weekly review sessions in a designated place.

26. When Does SI Start? • If offered for your class it should be announced by the instructor or SI during class. • Attendance is optional

27. Why Should You Go? • Data shows that those who attend generally obtain a better grade • Shown to increase from a half-entire letter grade • As much as 10 points to final grade.

37. What is It? • Service to all students, by appointment. • Assists with correcting skill deficits and other problems that could affect academic success. • Thoroughly assessed regarding your academic skills and emotional well being
