About Me I am an 8th grade student here at Monroe Middle School. I play on a soccer team, a baseball team, and a basketball team. I enjoy doing community service where I used to play baseball. It is a program called “Challenger Baseball”. It was created so that kids with physical and mental disabilities could play baseball. I like to play sports and spend time with my friends in my spare time.
Soccer is played in more countries than any other sport in the world
Why I chose College Soccer Coach • I want to help players have a good experience with soccer • I want to teach life skills through soccer
My personal connection I have been surrounded by good college soccer coaches my entire life. From them I learned how to be a good player and what a good coach looks like.

Researching Coaching Recruiting • “90% of coaching college soccer is recruiting” Gregg Murphy Associate Women’s Head Coach, Santa Clara University • Recruiting is driven by coaching philosophy and the team’s needs
Research Reflection • College Coaches are constantly coaching their players on and off the field • In fact coaches have private meetings with each player once every week • Coaches talk to their players about more than soccer. They discuss school, social life and other issues raised by the player
