  4. The History of Acadian Shores Acadian Shores Bed and Breakfast was originally built in 1862. It was built Captain Pierre du Platte, as a gift for wedding gift for his daughter, Marie.

  5. About the Owners We are originally from the United States, but always wanted to visit Nova Scotia. When we finally took a trip in the spring of 1984, we knew we had to come back. We decided to open a B & B and, after much searching, found the perfect place. We acquired the property in 1985 and worked to restore it for three years before opening its doors in 1988.

  8. Our RoomsOur Bed and Breakfast offers six uniquely decorated bedrooms and five bathrooms.

  9. Amenities We offer a full breakfast every morning from 6:00-9:00. Our rooms feature flat screen TV’s, pillow top mattresses and individual thermostats. We offer complimentary afternoon snacks and coffee and tea all day long. Available activities include chartered boat trips, guided tours, antiquing, swimming and fishing.

  10. Something for Everyone We feature a small bar/pub downstairs. We have a library filled with an extensive collection of books, including local history. We have an activity room for games or get togethers.

  12. Rates Bedrooms 1 and 4 are $125.00 per night. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are $115.00 per night. Bedrooms 5 and 6 must be rented together and are $200.00 a night ($100.00 each).
