Introduction & overview • Who we are – Introduce Tearfund • What we do • What are we doing to end SV • Purpose: : Churches will play a key role in supporting survivors and ending sexual violence. • Our expectation from the meeting • Assess the space, interest, and the will of the church, and the leaders to engage on this issue • Understand of the issue of SGBV in the given context, and the magnitude of the problem • Understand and discuss the root causes, and the niche and value addition the church can bring to end sexual violence • Map out a concrete way forward, to move the church into meaningful action • Introduction of the participants and expectations • Administer the self-discovery tool
