Accessing allowances, benefits, knowledge transfer + prevention schemes (electric blankets)
Where next? • RDPE will continue to operate through to 2013, as required under the European Rural Development Regulation. • CAP changes are currently being scrutinized, may result in ‘Leader like’ programme starting in 2015.
Where next? • Defra commitment to upland areas may remain key focus. • CF&D/LDNP well placed if uplands are key priority. • Any change in UK administration may change focus/emphasis on rural affairs. • In UK, 2015 timeframe is more likely to manifest itself as 2016 . • European Social Fund may be possible source of funding. • European Region Development Fund may also be possible funding source.
