RAIL AND COPPER PARK • Linear park adjacent to SR 177 • Provides a window to the community • 1500’ in length, 100’ wide • 10’ wide meandering concrete multi-use path, including pedestrian lighting • Ramada, benches interpretive display • Landscaping, 300 plants, drip irrigation system • Transportation Enhancement Project

MESCAL MOUNTAIN OHV PARK • Located in mountain foothill with 4 miles of trails with access to the other areas • Hiking, biking, and equestrian use also • Joint use of land management/cattle • Town wells (5) in area with some trails used as service roads • 12 ramadas with fire pits and tables at campground

  6. Restroom with potable water • Ramp to unload ATV’s • Kids ATV trail • State Parks OHV Grant

  8. KEARNY LAKE PARK • 10 Surface acres of water within 80 acre open space area • Fishing with stocking program • Non-motorized boating • Hiking trail • Restroom facilities (2) • FEMA-ADOT Grant

COPPER STATE PARK • Created in 2006 by Arizona state Legislature, will have over 2,000 acres • Premier rock climbing park in the United States • Initiated with the adoption of Federal land exchange related to Resolution Copper Company • Rock climbing areas have been designated, different degrees of difficulty

  11. 150,000 visitors a year • Entrance at Kearny • $1,000,000 from Resolution for road • 3-5 years to develop park
