Solution 3 : PalliativeCare in the RuralVilla According to World Health Organization (2012) the “palliative care is treatment to relieve, rather than cure, symptoms caused by some fatal diseases. Palliative care can help people live more comfortably; It is particularly needed in places with a high proportion of patients in advanced stages where there is little chance of cure.” “Effective public health strategies, comprising of community- and home-based care are essential to provide pain relief and palliative care for patients and their families in low-resource setting ”WHO (2012).
TO GET MONEY Get some investors. The populations to develop a community fund.
So for that we need 20.000.000€ for the project and for the construction To build the unit is cheaper if we build a new building
Expenditure • 12 nurses • 4 doctors • 5 assistant operating • 1 director • For the staff, materials and the maintenance of the unit we need to spend 5.000.000€ for year. • The secretaries, the engineer, the priest and the others professionals can work voluntarily
Financial dilemas • Financial problems of young couples lead to low birth rate • Part of eldery population is suffering from the lack of money to cover their needs • Unemployment of young population
Long term solutions • Increase of birth rate by giving benefits to young couples • Companies sponsoring and give donatives to social associations pay lower taxes • Rehabilitation plan financed by European Regional Development Fund
Short term solutions • Employment for young and elderly people • Markets to sell home-made products created by elderly people • Voluntary Solidarity Day • Benefitiary music concerts
