Requirements • Notify to HSE certain information: • crane owner/lessor details; • address of construction site; • crane identification details; • date of thorough examination (t/e); • t/e carried out for whom? Details; • did t/e reveal defects ‘reportable’ defects? • Trigger for notification – the t/e.

The Register Holding the notifiedinformation • Availableat: http://www.cranesregister.org.uk. • Cost - £20 per notification, payment via the website. • Input - uploaded directly by duty-holder. • Enquiry - enquiry form available on website. • Output - interrogation by HSE only.
