EM Conclusions • Digital Asia Network offers exciting new opportunities – expressions of interest in participation are sought • Next steps are necessary to build on the idea of a “Shared Online Fire Information System for SE Asia” • Opportunities exist for APAN forum to serve as framework for cooperation in developing a regional-scale “Asian dust” initiative (as part of broader meteorology scope) • The CEOS Grid efforts could contribute • Propose to hold the Asian Dust pre-workshop at Busan by EM with AG • Interest in Grid applications is increasingly rapidly. NR and Grid WG efforts are highly complimentary. Further joint sessions will be planned
