What • Federal Offices Users of Sunflower™ • “FOCUS” • What’s it acronym implies…a consortium of agencies using a well respected Property Management Information System (PMIS), coming together to discuss issues, share lessons learned, identify common ground and to work with the contractor to provide the best possible property management operation. Program Support Center

Why? • Sunflower™ utilized by multiple agencies • Redundant development costs for largely similar requirements • Competing requirements for limited resources • Increasing demand for interfaced, enterprise-like data management (in DHHS, UFMS, AIM) • Opportunity to leverage large market position in partnership with provider Program Support Center

  5. Who? • DHHS and Commerce have signed the Charter with SES leadership • DHS has agreed to sign as of April 25 • Others Sunflower™ Users include SSA, Energy, Education, FERC, ATF, NIH, with Justice (overall), VA considering procurement. SSA actively involved in Charter review Program Support Center

  6. Charter Highlights • Invites current and potential users to join • Invites Annam Corp as a participating member • Members will work together to • identify/develop common procedures/policies • develop interfaces sufficiently common to reduce costs of single agency development • work to encourage corporate initiatives with application across the using agencies, leading to reduced operating costs and a responsive key corporate partner Program Support Center

Charter Highlights • Share training opportunities/tech support resources • No requirement for funding • No commitment to restrict in-house goals • Potentially reducing implementation and training costs for new users • Develops available library of technical and training documentation Program Support Center
