  2. Aberdeen Station Area • The Aberdeen Train Station is a designated Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area.

  3. Station Square Area • Utilizing the CSSC-OEA Grant funding, the Aberdeen Station Square Feasibility Study is completed and pre-preliminary engineering civil site plans and cost estimates were provided for the pedestrian underpass and planned improvements. • Cost approx. $36.0 million for the east and west plazas, underpass, parking, and roadway improvements.

  7. Aberdeen TOD Area • Additional planning grant funds have been awarded by the BMC and the MDOT to develop a form-based code for the designated TOD area. • Public Workshops are planned for May-July, 2013.

Residential Development • Eagle’s Rest – 133 single family homes (under construction) • The Fields at Rock Glenn – 101 single family homes (under construction) • The Villages of Highland Commons - 22 townhouses • The Residences at Fieldside Village – 200 apartment units • The Colony at Beards Hill – 192 apartment units

  12. Other Activities • Aberdeen Heritage Trust – Historic Walking Tours • Earth Day planned for April 20, 2013 • Dog Park planned for Rogers Street • Water enhancements planned for Festival Park
