WHAT IS GAME-BASED LEARNING? Game-based learning or (GBL) is a type of game play that has defined learning outcomes. Game-based learning is designed to balance subject matter with gameplay and the ability of the player to retain and apply the knowledge learned to the real world (edtechreview, n.d.).

Gaming and education continued it’s popularity. ● % of Innovation ● The 1990’s became the age of the PC. Gaming and education was becoming more popular.
