  2. Directions • First you find two fractions. • If you have a mixed number, then you multiply the whole number by the denominator.

  3. Directions • Next you add the numerator. • After that you multiply the numerators by each other.

  4. Directions • Then you multiply the denominators by each other. • Last you simplify your answer if you can.

  5. Example • 2 4/6*7/12= • 2*6=12 • 12+4=16 • 16/6*7/12 • 6*12=72 • 16*7=112 • So the answer is 112/72 • Simplified the answer is 1 40/72= 120/36= 15/9
