Time Line Staff Recommendation: Phase I: Workshop to Finalize ‘Ready to go’ HLIs • Timeframe: • June 2009 / July 2009. • Participants: • Council members, entities that commented on HLIs, other interested parties. • To do: • Finalize HLIs for 6 implementation and 4 biological performance measures (tables 1 & 2): • Management questions, performance measures, indicator name, metrics, data source, data availability/quality. • Goal: • Present for adoption during July/August Council meeting. • If possible, include these HLIs in 2010 Congressional Report.
Time Line Staff Recommendation:Phase II: Workshops for Refinement & Coordination of Other Indicators • Timeframe: • End of summer 2009 to end of spring 2010. • Participants: • Council members, entities that commented on HLIs, other parties. • To do: • Assess priority & feasibility for remaining 9 proposed HLI topics. • For selected HLIs, develop & refine management questions, performance measures, indicator names, metrics, and data availability. • Goal: • Dec 2009 complete fish abundance & watershed condition HLIs. • Complete other priority/selected HLIs by May 2010. • Include these HLIs in 2011 Congressional Report.
