Endurance was a problem for the Hebrews The Problem The Solution “For you have need of endurance, that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.” (Hebrews 10:36) “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:38)
How Faith Solves the Problem “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Heb. 11:1) “For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. “ These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” (Hebrews 10:13)

Moses a Good Example 24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. 27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. “Substance of things hoped for” “Evidence of things not seen.”
